About this directory

Find ABA Providers is a free national directory of ABA provider agencies. Families search by county and insurance. Agencies list and claim their own profiles at no cost. There is no per-lead fee and no paid ranking.

Where the listings come from

Every seeded listing is built from the National Provider Identifier registry (NPPES), a public database maintained by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We include organizations registered under the Behavior Analyst taxonomy, code 103K00000X, that are currently active. We refresh against the monthly full file.

We index agencies only. Individual practitioner records are excluded, because the practice address on an individual NPI is frequently a home address and publishing those would be a privacy problem nobody asked us to create.

What we verify, and what we do not

We verify that the organization is currently registered in NPPES under the Behavior Analyst taxonomy at the address and phone number shown.

We do not verify clinical quality, outcomes, staffing, supervision ratios, current insurance networks, or whether an agency is accepting clients. Registration in a federal database is not a quality signal and it is not an endorsement.

This is why unclaimed listings say "Not reported" instead of showing plausible-looking details. We would rather show a blank than a guess.

How ordering works

Organic listings are ordered by how recently the federal registry entry was updated, then alphabetically. That is the whole algorithm. Position is not for sale.

The one placement we own

Liftoff ABA is operated by the team behind this directory. It appears as a labeled Featured Provider on New Jersey pages, carries a disclosure everywhere it appears, and is excluded from organic ranking rather than boosted inside it. If you would rather skip it, the organic list below it is untouched by that relationship.

Corrections

Every profile has a correction route. Corrections from a provider are applied after we verify they control the listing. Corrections from families are checked with the provider first. Send a correction.
